This car has spent its entire life in South Aust. & that was the number issued way back in 1985. When I aquired the car last year, the government rego people gave me the option of either going for the newer 7 character plates, or retain the original which the government is trying to phase out. In order to keep the car as 'concourse' as possible, I chose to keep the old plates, giving it an authentic 1985 look. And yeah, its the devils number.

Whats with the champagne flatty bluesystem? Euro or NZ spec?
The champagne flatty was a 87 EX UK model , then some one brought it to NZ , and some one else brought it to Aust then I bought it back in 2002 ( lucky me ). It was a good original condition , now it needs some TLC .

Yes, #384 would be a model 1989 (<295) and over half imported from Japan would be black. I think there are about 12 black wideys in Oz.
Whereas the UK mostly got Mexican red coloured wideys.
