Unfortunately my other money pit won't be ready for this drag day....so if anyone is interested, I might just have a "free" spot as I don't really want to take the widey - pointless as it is stock.

Shannon?!? ;)

Had a great day out today in the widey: 10 runs in the first hour with a best of 16.0@84 MPH with a 2.3 60'

99.99% stock car down to the exhaust, but with the 19'' wheels. 0.55 bar boost

Took a break and fitted a boost control valve, then the afternoon saw me have 22 runs in 1.5 hours with a best time of 15.359 @ 89.33MPH with a 2.291 60' with max boost of 0.8 bar.

Highest TS was 92.19MPH

With better traction and cooler temps (was 30°) would have probably run a high 14 as the 19's where wheelspinning/axletramping off the line.

Thanks goes out to Aaron for his help and encouragement :D

Now, time for some mods ;)

Nice result with the boost increase! 0.8 bar of boost is only 0.8x 14psi = 11-12psi(near boost cut out!), which isn't a lot compared to what others use!
Must have been fun to drive with the added zip!
A great pic as well! Good-onya! :beer
