Sounds good! Greg has posted on the forums so im sure he's seen this thread. He probably can't get leave approved.NXTIME wrote:I have scoped out Thirroul and there are a few places to get some food, however, there isn't much parking for a bunch of cars at the one place. So, I have found another well-known hotel just before Thirroul, in Austinmer called the Headlands Hotel. It is an iconic hotel and has a very good (seafood) restaurant and is located high on the hill, has plenty of parking and some great views.

Hoonie, I suspected Jim's was where you had in mind and I did scope out the Mary St area.
I also read about the Headlands Hotel and the fact that it is destined for demolition to make way for some apartments. So, it's probably the last chance to go there. Location and setting look good, too. Plus, I think the fact that we have 9 or 10 people makes the pub a little more attractive seating-wise.
We can also then drive down to the beach carpark at Mary St Thirroul afterwards. :beer
