"Legend of the Lakes" Hillclimb at Mount Gambier

Entries are currently open for the 2010 "Legend of the Lakes" Hillclimb at Mount Gambier, South Aust to be held next November.

In past years, due to the enormous popularity of this event, a full field of 130 entries takes only a week or two from opening. Anyone considering entering this event must do so immediately, or next week will be too late. Enter now & you still have nearly 4 months to get your car ready.

Last year one of our members entered his Starion, but unfortunately withdrew due to ill health. It would be great to see a Starion again take on the RX7s etc.

Checked out the entry list & there's no Starions :( But Mitsubishi is well represented with no less than 12 Evo Lancers :) entered.

Surprise entry is Mick Doohan (former world motorcycling champion) in a Mercedes E63

Entries are still open for the Friday historics for those interested.

Is that the one he rolled in Targa Tassie a few years ago or are MB silly enough to lend him another one :roll:
