hey i've never seen those boost cruising pics of the orange car before, where did u dig them up from?
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

so how did the widey handle? was it competitive with some of the3 modern day stuff there on the day? I am looking forward to getting mine out there soon as well.

its an old pic from oct 06. it didnt handle to well with 20 year old suspension. Surprising it was faster than a lot of Cobras and i could keep up with the GT40's on the straight. The GT40's handle amazingly. They were doing 1:04's which is a great time around there.

havent been back in the starion since ive done the suspension. Been playing with the cobra mostly.

It is overdue to have another go though.

I have posted this before but perhaps somebody missed it. I used to look after and crew on the Des Gibbs Starion. The car was very quick we always used to finish in the top 3 or 4 and won the 1986 Winton 300 which was the biggest GroupE race for 1986.
