So here it goes.

i would be keen for a track day during the week as the weekend is just too many cars.

In saying that i have to give at least 4 weeks notice due to my job as they feel they can't survive with out me.

But i will do my best to attend.

Count me in.

Can we confirm that this is still happening so that I can arrange the time off work?

for those goin from sydney, perhaps we should meet up at some place within sydney (e.g. liverpool or campbeltown or the likes, since it's on the way for most), and have a mini 'cruise' there? :beer

what time do we all wanna be going?

I'm out until I fix my Starion.

I did a track day at Eastern Creek on Thurdays 2 weeks ago. It was for ARDC members only.

It was my first time on the a track which was a buzz. First lap was just cruising to get a feel of the car. Second lap I pushed it a bit harder and brakes were stinking and fading badly by the end of that lap. Half way around the third lap. Pop! No power and no boost! cruised back to the pits and found my intercooler piping had popped off. A bloke helped me fix it and when back out. Second turn, pop again. Back into the pits, refitted, and ditto! So I called it day. (Note: Only running 14psi) Also one of the guys folloing me said that fuel was spewing out the breather when I took a sharp right. :(

You just need to lip (bead) your pipes so they can't come off. You can either get it done professional with a beading machine or a lot just run a bead of weld around the ends of the pipes.

Good idea is to brace the pipes as well where you can.

Maybe we should all join the trackday organised by the car club i am in.
It will be a private track day, and is a CAMS affiliated club. Great bunch of guys and girls, and all makes and models (not just rotaries)

It is a little more expensive than a off the street day, but i promise you it is worth it.
