Aaron (DJALPHA ) in his evo1was the only other forum driver to turn up .
He had some overheating probs but looked a bit like this :D
My brake ducting worked G R 8 as they remained consistant over 8 laps
We were on the "International " track and I was doing 140 thru turn 1 and saw an indicated 210 before braking at the 150 metre mark for the turn 3 hairpin corner ( can still go deeper into this corner with practice as I THINK MY GONADS HAVE SHRUNK WITH MY ADVANCING YEARS :( )
However in a later session my long suffering stock bottom end has finally cried enough and has l lot of blow by NOW B 4 YOU SAY "I TOLD YOU SO "this motor has done more than 60,000 hard klicks and it just happens that my stroker short motor is ready to be picked up nxt week (hows that for timing ??? )
I have spoken to Dave (Redzone ) and the car will be going to him to do the engine & g/box change and I will have to stop agonising as to go T/C or stay sohc Decisions Decisions
Track Day at Queensland Raceway Anyone ????????????
had a great morning out at QR. brakes where fantastic, but suspension and cooling system require an upgrade. boiled over twice. take an extra jerry can too. look forward to the next test day and maybe a seeing a few more austarion members. Rad, couldn't help myself, went back for more fuel and more laps when u passed me on the warrego.
