i think its funny and true as true can be.
One thing I dont get, is the interest in small cars that are mass-marketed to the female demographic. What is the deal?
I always see young guys driving little "Girls' Cars" that have either been done up for example; with an over-the-top exhaust when the car is clearly not a performance car, a big sound system that the tool of a driver wants everyone to hear as he drives his puncy 1.5L Purple Mirage covered with 17 stickers of all the internet car clubs he's in that feature the same type of girls' cars all driven by guys who think that their bodykitted and neon-equipped Suzuki Swift is the bull, but really SOUNDS like bull due to their crappy exhaust.
I JUST REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND THE INTEREST IN THESE CARS. If i want to listen to my favourite CD, I'll do it in the comfort of my home while its playing on my Dolby Surround Sound setup while I'm relaxing and having a beer.. not as I'm driving a gay ass Mitsubishi Lancer that used to be mum's shopping car but now its a full on defect as my "Fully-sik" 17" Chrome wheels rub on my guards and the Apexi, HKS stickers down the side and mumber plate that most probably starts with with "NVS" (coz I'm sooo original) makes my car a racing machine, partly due to the $30 ram pod i stuck on and 3" exhaust from Exhaust Technology.
THESE CARS ARE ACTUALLY GIRLS CARS..... GIRLS CARS... did you get that last bit?
And OMFG what the heell is up with that Diahatsu Charade with the numberplate PHATF2?!?!? That must be the ultimate gay boy car of Adelaide. I seriously prayed to god that it was owned by a girl the first time I saw it but was shocked to see a guy driving it! TO the dude who owns it: THIS CAR WAS MARKETED AS A CHEAP GIRLS' CAR in the mid-90's. When the people at Diahatsu sat around and thought about the next car they'd bring out, they thought: "We need to make a car that Females aged in the 18-30 bracket will love, thats cheap and doesnt cost much to run. The girls wont want a powerful engine, and it will fit in the garage right next to their husband's car." They didnt think: "Hey guys are gonna love this tiny poof-mobile thats got no guts and is only good to take to the hairdresser." They had no idea that Australian guys like YOU would buy this crappy car and fill it with as many amps and subs as you can and put big wheels on it and WHAT THE heell IS UP WITH THOSE STUPID TWIN EXHAUSTS OUT THE BACK OF YOUR CAR???? IS IT A V6 OR SOMETHING??? Sorry about blurting that last bit out, but they really are gay. Does your number plate stand for PhatFuckingTool?
SO correct me if I'm wrong but I think guys who drive these cars are totally wrong. They need to wake up and start acting like men, not little girls. Take a look at the chick next to you at the lights driving a 200SX, running a respectable 15psi of boost with a nice front-mount. Turn your neons and Eminem off and think about it..... she's a real driver, and you're a tool.

1983 JA Staz
so true tho... i know a guy who had a full sic kitted swift with stereo... floored it and it went nowhere :S where's the rush? took him for a drive and he couldn't beleive it was only running stock boost with 4 people in the car. I don't think they've been in anything faster then girls cars before thats all.

Skylines aren't girls cars, they're the car you just can't get away from.
Everywhere you go, you're bound to see a Skyline. EVERYWHERE!
Having said that I particularly like the R32 and R34 GT-R's!
I agree about the FWD low power, fart box bit.
Why would you bother? Especially in something as lame as a Hyundai excel/accent.
Still...everyone is different.
Each to their own.
Their car probably has working aircon though, and for that, I am most jealous. That's the only reason though.

Yes but the Pulsar GTiR is 4wd and turbocharged, and is the instrument of choice for quite a few rally drivers.
It's really much like a standard Pulsar, although they are good sleepers!
Same with the 4WD Mazda 323 Turbo!
