Crankshaft won't spin after BSE

Well I did the BSE. My car is in time and everything. Here is the issue. I dropped my oilpan to clean it out. I was going to spin the crank so I can get the pan back on easier. It is kinda hitting the back of the crank. If I turned it I could slide it in no problem. So I go to turn it. It does not b...

Here are two pictures. The first picture shows the sprocket and spacer pushed all the way down and fully tightned. You can see how the chain doesn't line up no more by looking at the chain guide and lower sprocket. Picture two is where the sprocket should sit to line up.. but you can see the quarter...

Balance Shaft (silent shaft) questions - g54b engine

I think my balance shaft.. or as the book calls it. Silent Shaft is bad. It does have excessive play I think. The timing sprockets can not line up because of the play it has. I was searching for a replacement and I came across an Eliminator kit. I guess that is just a new chain that goes from the oi...

Timing - I need help. the book is crazy

I don't want to mess up my timing. The book is showing the bottom timing mark NOT on the plated link. But the directions say line up the plated links with the timing mark. I am so confused. Here is a picture of the book.

Vapor Lines.

Are they required? Can I just remove them. I don't want to have to add extra on my fuel cell.

Throttle body Seal Kit

I noticed there were alot of non-reusable rings in the throttlebody. I have been looking for a re-seal kit. I found this one. http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getLocator&siteid=214331&chapter=ANP705&appSectionid=6&groupid=10024&subgroupid=20140&componen...

Rewire'n a car

From what it looks like, my car has been ghetto wired so many times I am not sure what is what sometimes. I have extra wires and broken wires all over. I can't find a place that sells a replacement wiring harness. My only other option, and what I would like to do anyway to make it pretty, is rewire ...
