Yeah, I went to undo the filler plug and it is half stripped and seized tight. I had to remove the gear shift and fill it through the top of the box so I couldn't wait till it flowed out of the filler hole to check if it was full (as the stripped bolt is still in it). I heard 2.5L was right so lets ...

Gearbox Oil

Hey guys. Anyone know how much transmission oil a Starion gearbox needs. I put in 2.5L's. Is that right?

Thanks guys. The car is going in for a new paint job shortly. Getting it sprayed the same colour as the engine bits. It's a metallic tangerine with a silver pearl and prismatique specks through it. The colour that it is now grew on me when I first bought it but after six months it's time for a chang...

It certainly puts a grin on your face. :D
But with no windscreen your grin tends to get full of bugs!
And bugs hurt in the face at 110km's if you forget your helmet!

It's ALIVE!!!

My Lotus seven Clubbie finally fired back into action after its unfortunate engine demise due to a wandering conrod caused by a $4 banjo fitting on the external wastegate. The new donk: 4G63B Turbo Balance shafts removed Custom sump to hold 6L of oil Nitrided crank Forged H beam conrods Forged Pisto...

I have fitted various ECU's over the years so have got to know a few quite well. I am using a Wolf on my VR-4 engine. Runs pretty good. Great features for the money. I use a microtech in my Silvia, it's decent but the Wolf is better in my opinion. However, if I could do it all over again I would be ...

Engineered and registered.
Not good for bugs in the head at 120km/h. :wtf:
Lotsa fun but.
Expensive hobby.
EG:
15" tyres are around $1600 a set and don't tend to last long.

0-100km times the Cordia was a faster car but I think at around 120km's the Starions would catch them due to more torque and aero-dynamics I believe (I may be wrong, just what I've read). Cordia co-efficeint drag - 0.34. Starion co-efficeint drag - 0.32. I must admit I was a V8 nut when I was 17 (12...
