How to unseize brake calipers?

Hi guys.I was installing new pads into my starion (rear) and went to compress the piston back with a G clamp and the piston wont budge :( Does anyone know how to unseize or am i better off just binning them and using another set? I am running 5 stud brakes etc and have 1 spare off a 4 stud model. Th...

Well it looks like we might be going into the MAD MAX era(But driving our turbo Starion's instead of a Falcooon coupe :D

The fan relay is located above the accelerator pedal-there should be a box that has a few relays on it,they have a little diagram next to each relay saying what it is.I think from memory its one on the bottom right hand side of the relays :D

I'd check the coolant temp sensor (The one that goes to the ECU with the 2 wire oval plug )
If it's shagged the the ECU wont be adding more fuel when cold which might be your problem getting it to run smooth when cold :D

the gauge is a smoke series auto gauge.I've also got a smoke series boost gauge and water temp aswell

oil pressure @ Idle

Hi guys was wondering what the normal oil pressure is at idle.I've hooked up a new aftermaket gauge (psi) as the old one wasnt working.
It reads about 20 psi @idle and goes up to about 65-75 psi at higher revs is that right?.

Mine turned out to be a number of things(it was running rich too) :oops:
(1)tps was out of adustment
(2)injectors were leaking
(3)water temp sender to the ecu was rooted
so mine seems to be running alright.
Check those things if you hav'nt already espeically the injectors.

That will be the idler arm bush.I replaced mine with a nolathane bush(about $20)Tend to wear out and slop around :wink:

lookin good-As they said you wont see it,but you will notice diffrence.I made a sim one but blocked off the gap between the wastgate flap and turbine wheel and made a siamese dump pipe.
