Dunno about dyno graphs telling the story about how it 'feels'. I had 240kw's with my TC and noticed the diffence even over the MPI DASH on the track. Then just to really get the 'feel' I did a couple of blockies a month or so ago in MRB's TME 6.5 with the stroker kit and about another 10-20 kw's ov...

Ron still has Coltspeed but located up at Pt Macquarie now. Coltspeed was THE place to be in Sydney during the 80's, 90's and '00ies if you had a performance Mitsubishi. Lots of good stuff went on there and many many good laughs were had in the heyday. Lots of good friendships was formed there. Coul...

Was a shocking accident and such a shame a young life with so much talent still to be tapped has gone too soon. I feel for his family, friends and the other riders so innocently involved. God knows if Edwards and Rossi couldnt avoid the impact then no one could have - both are experienced, talented ...

I was concerned when I heard it had an off but good to hear no major damage, particularly as you seem to have this car well hooked up now and becoming a real front running prospect. :beer

where's the track car gone now?
Gone to a really good home I'm happy to say. It'll show up soon enough and probably not where anyone is looking. I am not trying to be deliberately deceptive or sinister, out of courtesy I am leaving it to the new owner(s) to let on once they're ready.

Yep. It was quite a tale and tbh I was just happy to get something in the end as the guy making it promised the world then fell off it. Like I said I thought the price was high but with nothing really to compare it to at the time and the fact by the time it was all coming together I needed it badly ...

I paid 900 for mine and felt that was a bit high but not having anything at the time to compare to I paid happily enough. I aint saying it is high just that it felt "high". (I fully understand one off/custom jobs cost more because the fabricator cant get any benefit from quantity buying or...

Glen, Dont take me wrong I think your car is fantastic, I just dont go the stretched tyre/wheel fad (madness). I'm personally glad to hear the tyre/wheel thing was for one event or (events as need may be from time to time). The MX5 is an awesome car that handles superbly. I've been a fan of them for...

The harness bar was an "add in" when I had the cage built/installed.

I'm pretty sure you could get one fabbed up that bolts to the strut tower and would serve the purpose. Some bar, welding and then drilling and bolting and it'd be done.
