Re: Many shades of Red

Good luck on your maiden voyage.
I did similar once upon a time but simply bolted to the flange and made a sort of C shape to cover the turbo. Wobbled a bit but didn't matter, it's just to keep the heat off the underside of bonnet

Re: LSD's. How tight is too tight!?!

The manual mentions Axle shaft turning torque 39nm or more. This is the torque mentioned by Coop1er (some call it break away torque)

IGC-133 PREMIERE AUTO TRADE IGNITION COIL (T TYPE) http://www.nationwideautoparts.com.au/partno_images/IGC-133.jpg I've searched various posts here and there's no real answer to upgrading the coil and getting away from an oil fi...

Lift both wheels in the air. Turn one of them. If the other turns the opposite direction you have an open diff. Same way,you have lsd. The fact you can feel it clunking does not sound right.

Not that I'm aware of. There's a PCV on the other end of the cover that runs into the bottom of the inlet manifold.

Hmmmm....I thought you couldn't do it nowadays so I did a bit of a search. Vicroads refer to VSB14 in their documents but they're quite vague. ( https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/~/media/files/documents/safety%20and%20road%20rules/vsinumber8guidetomodificationsformotorvehicles.ashx ) So...VSB14 lives ...
