Checking out Yahoo auctions in Japan over a period of time, I've noticed all the auto 1986/87GSR's are not GSR-V's. They tend to have 4 stud wheels and the red rocker covers same as the JD, together with clutch fans. So, I don't think auto 86/87 and 88 model flatbody GSR's are a GSR-V technically! ...

Yes . It's not a simple swap , but worth it if you have all the bits . You need more than just the throttle body , you need all the wiring , connectors , plugs and so on . And a sympathetic Mechanic .
