I just copied this from a website.

The new 4G69 engine is based on the outgoing 2.4-litre 4G64 single cam 4-cylinder powerplant, but has seen a slight increase in displacement (from 2351cc to 2378cc) and the inclusion of VVT for more power and torque.

Turbo Outlander

I was thinking how gutless the family car is (Outlander) so I was looking to see what would be involved in making a decent car of it. While I was looking at my options Mitsubishi has already done it, a turbo outlander. It's only out in europe at the moment but I'm hoping it will come out here so I c...

Don't do what I did and buy a ECU and the closed place with a good name to tune it is 50+ kms away.
Also make sure you have a look at the specs and make sure that it will do what you want.

To clean the turbo, try Carby clean. I used it on my intake manifold when I had it off and it came up like brand new.

I don't know if this would be to harsh on the turbo or not but try one of those wire brush bits for a drill.
Maybe someone can give you a better Idea about these methods

I love the custom job of the intake pipe from the turbo to the ECI. What preformance store did you get that from :D But on a serious note where that pipe is stuck into the turbo make sure there is no gap there for crap to fall into the turbo. I would wrap it with duct tape just to make sure no crap ...

Thats what I was thinking. What I was saying about the crank sensor is just me grabing at straws. I still might give it a shot when I get a chance and see what happens. I know Microtechs run rich , but i didn't realise that bloody rich. (might explain why I was getting 200 kms at tank with the stand...

Okay, Tomsun I have just installed a 4 wire NTK Lambda sensor, hooked up to my ECU and getting the readings from the hand controller.

Starion VR4, I will have a look at all those settings tomorrow.

And it continues.......

I finaly got the Idle at 14.0:1. But now a new problem has come about.
When my thermo fans kick in the engine stalls under the load. Is there a way to adjust the load for when they kick in or do I have to look at another option.

Thanks for all your help sofar guys.
