So let me get this right....u have to remove these 3 to be able to put the balance shaft belt back on... http://www.fr33z3.net/starions/timing_marks_009_b.jpg ...and u need to obtain or make up sum tool to pull these three off?? How has everyone else tackled this???...alot of work for a simple belt ...

I've got the full 1988 manual vol. 1 & vol. 2 on cd if its any help to anyone. I'm definitely after the 1982 manual though. :)

You know what, I think that picture from the manual has a slight error. Balance shaft timing

Im changing the timing belts on my JA cause the belt that goes to the left balance shaft has broken.

Does anyone know how to get the timing between the two balance shafts sorted?

:) ....cool. Those links are a great help. I recently had to fix the air duct that goes from the air filter box to the front of the turbo because it had just had it and had split due to wear n tear. Couldn't find a decent one anywhere so we did a repare job that worked out real well + cheap. I guess...

Thanx SpidersWeb.....yeah not actually in the injectors just on the outside and yeah we tried to clear them out but this one is still sticking open. Wot do u mean by getting a replacement top-hat?? I struggle to find any wreckers around Melbourne who has any parts (so if anyone on here from melbourn...
