Apparently the different names come from the different factories the engines were manufactured at, I'm not sure if that's true or not but it's what I've heard.

If it hasn't been tuned then you gotta expect it to not run at all, you just got lucky that it happens to work with the large injector. You should get it set up how you want it then take it in to be tuned, or get a wideband oxygen sensor and tune it yourself. Normal injectors are around 800cc I thin...

You can change the valve stem seals with the head still on, might save you a bit of trouble if that's what your planning to do. You just need a special valve spring compressor and a way to keep the valves from falling into the cylinder, preferably compressed air.

How was it set up when you got your microtech tuned? If you change that then it wont run because the fueling will be way out. Does the microtech control spark too?

Are you sure about that Prozac? I can't see why an air flow metered car would need an air temp sensor in the ic piping, could it have been after market?

A narrow band oxygen sensor would only help with fuel economy at idle and cruise, assuming the LT8 can function in closed loop mode under those conditions, otherwise it wouldn't do anything. The density of air changes with its temperature so the amount of fuel required is directly proportional to th...

The factory air temp sensor is mounted inside the AFM housing which you'd normally get rid of when installing an aftermarket computer in order to run a pod air filter. It isn't much help anyway because it's before the turbo which is fine for an AFM metered system but no use in a MAP metered system. ...

Yeah green lines are the essential ones, red ones are emissions gear. Keep in mind that diagram was originally made for a Cordia so yours may look different. Our NZ new Cordias only ever came with the green lines because they have no emissions bits. I don't know if Starions ever came NZ new?

I use a software based DVR called i-catcher console it's not that cheap but still cheaper than buying a standalone DVR if you already have a decent computer to run it on. There is also a good open source (free) software DVR called Zonealarm but that only runs on Linux. The advantage of a software DV...

I think it's that silver pipe that runs along the front of the head and down towards the turbo, perhaps iXNAY could have a look and see where it goes?

EVO 4 come setup with anti-lag from the factory, but it works differently to how you described it. It's explained on autospeed: "Interestingly, a secondary air injection system (aka anti-lag system) was also introduced. We believe that production versions of the Evo 4 have all the necessary air...

The top link usually takes you straight to the software developers site which would be safe to use, in this case you want http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ which is the first non-sponsor link when you search for firefox.

Most of the info applies, but because we're running turbo cars the vacuum/boost gauge will go all the way to zero and then up the other side.
