I don't know about the starion but when i had some 30mm spacers under the bonnet hinges in my sigma it definitely let hot air out the back. The way I know this for certain is that the air for the interior air vents came from vents located between the bonnet and windscreen was always hot. I can think...

Inlet Manifold Bracing?

I have a multipont setup I'm reinstalling on my engine and I have a little question. Well I was just wandering though the wreckers looking for a couple of little parts and i came across a NA 4g63 galant multipoint engine. I noticed that it has some bracing pieces between the top and bottom halves an...

Take a look at this forum and search for LSD in the technical section. From all the information i've seen over the years the diff in these EX lancers are the same as the scorpions. If thats what you were planning then this would be the best place to get the info. As far as i know there hasn't been a...

WTB: Power Steer tank

I'm just after the L shape oil reservoir tank that goes on the top of the power steering pump. I have a few starion bits and pieces you can have for it or I'll just give all the bits and pieces away to whoever wants them once I get my hands on a tank. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk91/woops123...

I ended up taking off that BOV thing and putting a plate over the place instead. I wasn't too sure if that was the reason for not being able to get any boost higher than 12PSI as i figured it was a pressure relief valve of some sort. Still have all the pieces though.

Re: Starion Vs Evo Vs VR4

VR-4 has large ports to be used in conjunction (well at least on JDM models) with a 'Cyclone' manifold which is dual stage with 8 runners of which only half get used under about 4500rpm to promote turbulence and swirl in the combustion chamber. Evo has smaller (but not necessarily small altogether)...

That additive is to replace the lubrication of the head which would have previously been done by the lead then increasing the octane level. And also those additives don't have lead in them, they just have a substitute that works similar to the lead for lubrication. The starions require a higher octa...

One thing that would be a nice thread would be the differences between the multiple heads available. When there is the so many potential choices for heads and engines ranging between Galant N/A, Sonata, VR4, RVR, EVO 1 2 and 3 it would be nice to have a definitive answer on any the differences of po...

Ebay Turbos... Are these genuine?

I was just looking about on ebay and came across this seller and he seems to have a few apparently genuine Mitsubishi turbos. I'm still not sure if they are for real and was just wondering what people on here think. If so they seem to not be too bad a price. Starion TC05-12A http://cgi.ebay.com.au/T...

How do you mean you have the suspension designed to take Starion shocks? I have Starion front struts and brakes in my sigma and the only thing i did to put it in was to change the strut tops to the sigma ones which for this model are 4 bolt. Granted it's for the GN sigma but i'm pretty sure the size...
