Also there are often different places that the statistics are gotten from that will give different results. With these results were they gattered from data from crash test dummies and smashing the cars into things or were the figures actually gotten from the actual amount of seriuos injuries vs the ...

Ok igottasicjb. I'm just wondering why do you think that the cooling on the sonata manifold needs to be modified. I'm in the middle of changing over my L300 manifold to a sonata one so i can get a better set up for intercooler piping. I wondered about the different thermostat outlet locations but wh...

Probabally best to try www.sigma-galant.com. If your looking at putting the starion engine into a sigma why don't you look at posibly using a galant instead. Alot lighter and it is possible to have them look alot nicer. I think they might have a leaf spring rear though. If your still keen to put it ...

What kinda price range would you be looking at to get a set of hubs machined up to give a different offset all round. Is it worthwhile getting hubs machined to get a larger range of rims available at cheaper prices or is it actually cheaper to get a set of 3 piece rims made up for our uncommon offse...

VR4 injectors are usually pretty easy to come across though a couple of different ways and you have to be making pretty large power levels to max them out. Also there is nothing wrong with either the L300 or the sonata one as they are one both suited to run a 2.4 NA engine vs a 2L turbo. I have a XF...

Screamer pipe and emissions questions
Does anyone know if it'd be legal to have a screamer pipe on a starion. It'd have it's own muffler and exhaust system parallel to the turbo outlet. It would have no cat as would the exhaust but it would still exit after the diff. Also would you have to have a cat on a starion engine in queensland if...

Pretty sure you can use the galant manifold but as it's designed for the 2lt engine it won't have the best flow available. Best bet is to go for a Hyundai Sonata 2.4 Lt manifold from a Y1 series sonata whish is about 89 to 91 i think or the Mitsubishi L300 Manifold from the 2.4 lt engine for multipo...

I've had a problem when i've tried to remove the balance shafts from my engine. I have removed them all fine and cut off the oil pump one but i can't remove the bearing at the front of the block for the other balance shaft so i can rotate it to block the oil feed. Does it need to be pulled out the b...

I've heard that the sigma steering column can be used to changed to a get a non-power assist. If this is the case then the sigma power steering might also be able to be used. And if any one has some measurements of the bolt up locations and distances i could compare it to a sigma one i have here. Yo...

I'm pretty sure when i got mine done i couldn't get CTP without a roadworthy. But if you have insurance sorted, roadworthy and all the paperwork filled out and ready to be handed to the people at the transport dept then you don't have any problems. I got pulled up by a copper after only the first co...

They will probabally be a fair bit heavier than the expensive ones due to using a cheaper metal to make them and having to over engineer it. The pressure drop will be more than what they reakon, 0.2 psi is way too small a pressure drop to be possible for an intercooler. For the price they probabally...
