the 06 can be tricky to setup. Are you using a header or stock exhaust manifold? The us 2.6 love td06 wheels, even in 16 and 18Gs. The garret 60-1 wheel is notoriously 'laggy' on 4cylinders, yet the 2.6 has no prob with 'em. vr4 has excellent street performing 20Gs using 06 or clipped 05 wheels.... ...

Would you want a staz gbox behind that v6 tho? Even the later us 88/9 box wouldn't stand up to healthy v6 torque 'aggressively driven'. If it were me considering this swap, the decision certainly won't be hinged on that obstacle. I'd start looking at v6 mitsu trucks and sport utes for that 'bolt up'...

if u stick with the stock twins, I doubt u can hurt the starion diff... unless you constantly abuse it In the west, most cars are left hand drive and are better suited to motors like the 7m, 1/2j, 4g63 etc.. where your exhaust/ turbo plumbing is not tangled up with the brakes and steering.
