If you're running the EVO VIII air flow meter and injectors you should be pretty close, close enough to drive it to a tuning shop anyway.

I can help out with advice and installation of engine management gubbins and wiring, it's not super complicated, just time consuming/expensive. There were three NZ new galants with the right multipoint manifolds and electronic dizzies at pick-a-part when I was there on Sunday, so not overly hard to ...

Mods time! Love it :-) Depending on what sort of condition your turbo is in, you can get parts for them here: http://shopping.kinugawaturbo.com/ It's Chinese stuff (even though they say it isn't), but the quality is actually pretty good. I bought a rebuild kit from there, did the rebuild myself, the...

coop1er - that is a damn invaluable image, really explains it clearly, cheers.

The DASH ECU's are a little different, they control the spark timing, for example.

coop1er - That method of checking the codes, and those codes are for the later mode SOHC 8V ecu's. The DASH 12V stuff is pretty different afaik.

I'm sure he still has the molds, not sure if he's planning to make any more anytime soon, but swing him a PM, he might have something kicking around.

FS - 550 x 230 x 65 intercooler with mounts to suit Starion

I acquired another intercooler core a while back that I'm going to use, so this one is for sale. want $50 for it. Never used, probably needs a good blow out. Mounts the intercooler pretty low, to suit widebody front spoiler, or one of JAS's fibreglass replicas. http://i750.photobucket.com/albums/xx1...

I'd recommend an EVO/RVR small port head instead of the big port VR4 head. The VR4 had to use a tricky dual runner manifold to get the torque back up to where it should be at low RPM. Going with an EVO head you'll avoid this problem, but plenty of EVO's still make great power up top! Better drivabil...
