Good info!

Did any Starions fitted with the big diff have a ratio different to 3.54:1, from the factory? I've never seen or heard of one, but I've seen small diffs in both 3.9:1 and 3.54:1 from the factory.

Do the wire colours match up between the two models? I see the plugs have the same number of pins. If so, I'd de-pin the old blue connector, snip all the pins off with a bit of wire still attached, snip the black plug off the new switch and match them up colour for colour. Have you checked the aux fusible links over by the air-box aswell? They're just floating, no mounts or anything. They connect the alternator loom (and thus battery) to the fusebox and ignition switch.

Good read, but my crank trigger goes where the balance shaft gear used to be, so begone with it! Motor is never going to be a super higher performer anyway, so I doubt I'll strike any issues.

Working at repco, then have a friends wedding. Bugger. Unless we all went for a cruise to the Scope? Its like $25 per person or something, so pretty pricey :-(.
