Hah, need to see what the geometry is like first, and how it drives, then maybe look at making more of them :-). It could be complete ass you know!

Cheers for doing that dude, I really appreciate it. Sort of sounds like what I was expecting, if you measures the two from hub-face to hub-face, the 180 is probably a good 50-100mm wider? I might have to shorten the s13 lower arms a little after all. There are adjustable ones out there, but any that...

The specs for the track width of an S13 are ~50mm wider than the Starion, however I'm not sure where that is measured, if its centerline to centerline of the original wheels, or the hub-wheel interface surface, or...? I had 25mm spacers on the 17x9 wheels to get them to fit nicely, and I'm hoping wi...

I've been doing the odd bit of work on this. I bought a set of autoliv generic replacement seatbelts (60-90, and 120-90 for anyone that needs them) and had a local company de-web them, and thread on the original emergency buckle fitting, and trim peices for where they pass through the door skins. I ...

Really like what you're doing with the electrical side of things Popup, using the EVO 8 ECU will open up a world of opportunity! The support out there for them is pretty massive. Once mine is up and running with the EVO V ecu I have already, I'll probably end up switching to a 7/8/9 ecu too :-).

TPS is used to tune for transient conditions mainly. You'll find if it's idling, and you floor the throttle, it'll almost die, then pick up? That's because it's not giving you any 'tip in' enrichment (what an acellerator pump does on a carb). Your enconomy will definatle be worse too, as the ecu wil...

Make sure that dryer is well ducted outside, don't want the moist air rusting all your bare metal parts! :-).

That is golden information, thankyou very much. I'll be tackling exactly the same task soon, so cheers for trail-blazing :-). Did you press the FWD pump flange onto the RWD pump? I seem to remember that the RWD V-Belt and FWD Multi-Rib pulleys had different bolt PCD's? Wouldn't be hard to redrill th...

That GTO engine is bloody beautiful! Love the factory look!

What combination of crank and waterpump pulleys did you use to get multi-rib belts, with a proper RWD waterpump?

From what I've seen, all the DOHC heads (not the later EVO IV onwards reversed ones though) have the mounting bosses for the front cam sensor, but they aren't drilled unless the motor actually had the sensor form the factory. I've got an EVO III head sitting on the bench right next to me, and it's g...

The vr4 throttlebody is on the wrong end of the factory manifold. You could use it with some modification. The 'cyclone' part is a variable runner system, to use long runners at low engine speeds to increase air velocity, and short runners at high rpm to remove the restriction of the long runners. T...

Use whatever is cheaper, but if you can find a small-port head, go for that instead. The VR4' s and most of the N/A stuff use tricky switchable manifold runners to keep air velocity high at low RPM, but also unrestricted at high RPM. The heads themselves have maaaahoosive intake ports. As you probab...
