Auction closing tomorrow. Am happy to send to Australia at buyer's expense. Best quote so far is NZ$295 door to door air freight (East Coast / Tasmania). If the diff went for NZ$795 it would work out to be AU$850ish delivered.

Had a good look for leaks but no luck. The idle is steady (ie not surging), it just misses at idle and idles quite low, then feels really sluggish until it comes on boost. Almost feels like it's running on 3 cylinders at low rpm?

Not sure? It's an '83 Jap spec, factory intercooled and has the oval shaped inlet on the intake manifold.

Running rough at low revs?

My Jap spec GSRIII seems to be running pretty poorly at low revs. Idle is rough and seems to miss and be down on power up to about 2500rpm. Once it comes on boost it seems to run a lot better. I've checked timing, coil, plugs, leads, replaced fuel filter etc. AFM seems to be working? Its a standard ...

It won't go at all when he's asking that price. I'd say NZ$5000 is about the going rate for a tidy NZ new Starion? "toughened bottom end and heat treated head" Righto mate

Twin cam conversion

Sorry, I realise this has been covered before, but I just wanted to claify a few things about doing the twin cam conversion. Let's assume I have both a complete Starion engine and a complete VR4 engine with loom and ECU. Having searched through the old posts it seems to me that these are the main ch...
