Do you know if any UK spec starions were ever fitted with the small diff ? all I can seem to find over here is widebodies with what looks to be the big diff and 6 bolt axles.

Does anyone know if theres any other diff gearing available for the small lsd. I have a lsd out of a jb in my car at the moment and looking to change to 3.9 if possible. Im currently in the uk and while im here I thought id take a look around for one here. Thanks Todd

For a repaint the window adhesive just needs to be cut back with a long blade stanley knife. No need to remove it completely, a thin layer left on the body is fine to paint over. Non cure sealer used on tailights etc can be removed with wax and grease remover, scrap it off best as u can beforehand.

Its a sickness, here i am on the other side of the world (UK) on a working holiday scoping out possible starions/bits instead of focusing on trips to Europe etc. I cant help it . haha

Im over in the UK at the moment, been here for 7 months or so . Got a job on the Underground doing panel replacements. Planning to be back in oz july next year.

ive seen scorpions engineered with 318 /360 small blocks in them , plenty of room in the engine bay , ive got a 79 model here that ive got a starion single cam sitting in the engine bay waiting to be finished .

while i have not weighed the 1uz motors myself, multiple sources from the net as well as some friends who have played with them put the weight of the 1uz in at 170 - 190kg, including accessories.. I assume not every single one of them is a retard. sr20det measured at 150.. is that with accessories ...

there not very exciting in standard form .

they're a bit of a boat anchor though . not really.. they weigh a tad less than an sr20... nah.. sr20 weight about 145 to 150 kg and 1uz's are about 213kg ,probably less then sum early cast iron head and block stuff but what i meant was there not much of a performance engine , good for 4wd's lol .

pretty cool , those engines run so quiet but there a bit of a boat anchor though .

belt mould ?
