I tried cleaning it, even used sandpaper to bring it back to metal. Connector just didn't conduct! :x

I just cut another one out of a dead Magna I had at the time! That's been long since replaced again with the new engine. I used a test light to see where it had power. Like the bottom picture shows, power either side, just not on the connector. Replaced the connector and earth again = running Staz! :D

Yep, belts not tight enough! You literally need to almost use a crowbar or a large Screwdriver and pry the alternater tight, then tighten the bolt on the sliding bar!

Of coursde if it's an "Old Stazz" as you so delicately put it, adding torque via mods will probably kill it! :D

Mine did this the other day, 18.8v. Regulator died in the Alternator. Nearly took out my fuel pump. I lost low beams and my electrics were going mad! Could have done some serious damage to the battery!

Replace it ASAP! I wouldn't even turn it on personally! :x

The rating has nothing to do with how well the car will survive. I've already proved how strong the Starion is. What is the problem is that the car will plough into the other object and project ALL the force onto the people within the car, most likely doing serious damage or death. The Starion doesn...

The last episode of Series 9 aired in England on the 4th of March.

Topgear has lost the lease on the track they use and will not be back until sometime later in the year!

This is an old episode. Probably the one where the Stig crashes the new Koniseginnertheyshndhrfhen... :D
