i was under the impression 7 bolt had different pin diameter and wider on big end as well... however i have seen stuff in the us of them "frankensteining" 6 bolt rods to work with the 7 bolt pistons

all the tie rods are pretty get-able. excuse the crappy underside of my car... Did you mean the bit in the middle there where it looks like someone has chewed it off with there teeth? Both my cars appear to be missing that.

I was looking to throw this on the car the other day and noticed thewr is no mountings for the centre.. both my cars look as though a piece has been hacked out of the centre at the bottom of bracket that holds the oil cooler. Is there something that is meant to be there or am I missing something else?
