Thanks RiceThief but I've decided to just go with it. It's such a pain to diagnose and I had been thinking about doing it anyway. The plan was to keep the tbi as I don't really want massive power, the car is in really good condition and I'd like it to at least seem stock still. I'm not doing anythin...
I thought the dizzy was optical, it has the silver disc with the slots in it. I'm in Perth WA so I don't think borrowing an ecu would be quite so easy. Is the third valve really that hard to work with? I would've thought it would've been similar to Toyota's TVIS system on the 4AGE where it opens air...
New ECU
So I've had it with the GSR-V. I've checked every sensor over and checked the signals at the ecu and can't fault anything. So I believe my ecu is at fault and causing my weird idle which hasn't gotten any better. The codes it was flashing out of the diagnosis connector were for the oxygen sensor and...

Thank you coop1er! I've been looking for something to tell me how to read these damn pulses. I had found a list of codes but nothing on how to read them. From memory I'm sure that one code is definitely the oxygen sensor but I'll look into the others later. Oh and thanks to niss720 it took a bit of ...

This is why I think there are two different codes. http://forums.austarion.com/viewtopic.p ... ght=binary
This guy seems to be getting similar codes but I have no idea how to interpret them.

I disconnected the battery today to wipe the codes. I let it idle for about 15min which it did fine. The cold start idle up worked and then dropped slowly as it should. So I checked for any codes, it only had one which it kept repeating. ____---_--_-_-_-_-____ The spaces are seconds it was on/off. U...

Is this it? Has a black wire and a blue/yellow wire. http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/y537/Gsrv/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps2cf3509f.jpg I have a wiring diagram for a JD but not sure if it's a direct crossover as it's been right about the wiring to the idle stepper motor but it's saying the wires t...
