Yep..

The wire from the oil pressure gauge tends to come off sometimes.. Last time this happended it seemed to earth out against some part of the electrical system and the gauge now permanently reads full scale. There does seem to be a tiny bit of movement there so i'm thinking the gauge isn't completely ...

Really I'm not completely certain its *not* a factory dizzy, perhaps just a later model, but it is a pointless one..

I'm now told the ECU tested ok, but its the ignitor thats caput.

Anyway, further to that I'm still looking for a lead on an ECU, and getting somewhat desparate, regos run out and my auto elec is asking some earth shattering price for a reco'd one..

I'm actually running a hall effect dizzy. The Haltec is an old one, fuel only. I said a similar thing to my auto-elec when he told me my ECU was dead but apparently I still need the ECU as a base line trigger (or something)..??

I have a JA that needs an ECU - but just for the ignition trigger as it has a Haltec to run L300 multipoint fuel injection - would this one work?
