the 4g63 L200 utes gearboxes will bolt up (i've got a mate with a vr4 engine in his 85 L200) and apparently (a rumour, can't confirm) the later model starions with the 12 valve motors had the wider bellhousing pattern as well. i know some of the L200 gearboxes were cable, not sure if all of them wer...

1981 mitsubishi lancer + 4g63t

http://mitsi61.freeserverhost.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=13 i don't think these are very common in Australia, even the carby ones. this originally came out with a 1500 carby so when i blew the head gasket i decided to see what else i could do with it. its got a gearbox, interior, wiring loom a...

cheers for that wastegate article, might have to give that a go.

how would this compare for accuracy in installation? ie: would an electronic boost controller be any more accurate? or would this do the job just as well.

cheers

i know what you mean about the factory boost gauge's, the lancer ones only have a picture for vacuum or on boost and a needle that flicks inbetween. i've got an autometer boost gauge in there anyway so that should be pretty accurate. i'll have to check out that second hose to the actuator (the cars ...
