The same turbo did 10psi from 3500 in my car, but you have to try it :)

i think it is not a big problem, when you start your car, you will rev it above 2500, and the alternator will charge the battery.
Who use turbo-cars under 2500? :twisted:

Bump So the second diagram down with the 2 connectors is for a uk ex? any one got a pin out for ex euro ? From the menu at the top, go to technical section, download the American Conquest/Starion Manual zip file, and you can find some infos about ECUs in eciturbo-med.pdf. The pinouts are at page 39...

mine is working like yours. When I start the car, at idle speed the generator is not charge, and when the RPM goes above 2500, the generator starts to work, and after that, it is charging at all revs. I think it is normal, I found the same issue on some ON and OFFtopic cars.

Why are you want to remove the barrel? You can just unplug the connector of the ign.switch, connect start button and a switch, and leave the barrel at its position. Or you have to drill off the head of the bolts. These bolts are "unremoveable" because if you remove them you can remove the ...
