the stock non turbo fuel pressure reg will be fine but not ideal. When the engine is creating a low pressure in the intake (vacuum) the fuel pressure will be lower, then when the throttle is wide open it will go to full regulated pressure.. say 35-40 psi. as long as the fuel pump can maintain enough...

I dont think.so, but it will definatley make the.steering quicker

I would be shortening the idler and pitman seeing as you have shortened knuckles it will make the steeering quicker! Id look at taking out the steering lock stops and recessing the lca's for the tie rod ends to move into the recess..

interesting article, the only reson i want to use the 070 pump is because i already have a near new one here. it was on my other project, 74 LA lancer with a turbo astron and supported 220rwkw ok. Had some free time so decided to sort out the p/s canister location, think it should be ok here, if not its not hard to move it again. I figured that comodores have plastic canisters mounted on their radiators so this should be fine... Been trying out my new tig welder fabricating up stuff like this...

seeing as you've got your pump mounted with the surge tank, have you put a lift pump ontop of the tank in the factory fuel pump location? or an intank lift pump?
