You can run a 2ltr jap 5 speed from a scorpion Ok thanks for the info. I am thinking, I want to get a 5speed, so when you say Jap 5spd this only from scorpians? Any ideas where I might find one for sale (Jap 5spd)? Any other cars one of these boxes can be got, maybe a wreckers in qld or northern ns...

Best bet is to get under the car and measure the distance between lower bellhousing bolts. Narrow is 310mm - wide 330mm (note measurements are approximate and off the top of my head - may be wrong) ok , it seems I have a narrow block? 315mm ( car is a 87sigma auto) what are my manual trans options ...

I just inherited an automatic '87 sigma "satellite" LOL . Allegedly 71,000km. I would like to buy complete motor or the manifolding injection/carb etc for this 2600 motor . I live in Brisbane.
