Pair of rear calipers needed

Hi all,

I need a pair of rear caliper for my starion (2.0 widebody)

Can be new/refurb/used just need to be in good working order, complete with handbrake mech's

Can anyone help? need shipping to the UK (i will cover it!)

When holding the handbrake levers are you engaging or disengaging? Dont understand how it would work but will try!

Ok so I have good front and rear brakes (passed M.O.T) but when handbrake is up as had as I can physically pull it, I can still push the car along. Bump! not long until my m.o.t, I have compared the diagram linked in 1st post but looks wrong, as there is no wire for AFS and TPS.

Anybody able to point me in the direction of a uk spec 2.0 pin out?

I hope lunacy can get back to me before my m.o.t!

Fugazi, I think idle control could well be the culprit, although prior to the rebuild I dont remember it having this problem? Is the idle control the black rubber sheathed piston that pushes on the tab of the throttle pulley? If so anywhere this can be tested/ should it be visibly moving etc? My man...

thanks for the reply, played around today.


first start the car, low idle (400), quick rev and idle settles at 800.

then everytime you rev the engine the idle will drop to 300 and slowly pic back up to 800.

also slow at dropping revs. any ideas guys? loosing the will with the car now!!
