Rad, I think you're waisting your time with the 3.9 ratio esp. how you say....'1st gear is useless'! I think you should put the original 3.5 diff ratio and let engine do the 'torquing' This is the exact reason why I didn't bother changing to a 3.9 diff. The 3.5 with some decent tread should ...

I agree with John, a 16G compressor wheel fitted to the TC06 Turbo would be the only way to go. Throw in a split-pulse manifold, and sleeve the turbine outlet to run a twin dump pipe and merge the waste-gate more nicely. Then play around with cams, intake (porting that is), so on and see what you en...

The only reason you want long runners, is to reduce the manifold back-pressure (by verge of more volume), which improves the performance of Turbo cars with ridiculous overlap, ie 280+ deg camshafts. This is why you see long manifolds on drag Evo's and F1 Turbos. Not to mention the F1's used inconel ...

Anchor, the parts you listed are fine. As long as the motor has the right clearances and is balanced, plus a proper tune with no 'knock knock who's there? The grim reaper is', to kill your engine, it will be fine. :) With 288 cams, you will want a long runner exhaust manifold to minimise back-pressu...

Re: WTB SHP Widey Wheels - Yes, You Read Right.
Its not even if they want to sell it, its also about what car its going to go on. I certainly wouldn't sell a set of SHP rims unless it was going to be used on a Widebody or GSR-VR, and for originality purposes most owners would find it difficult to sell them off regardless if they have them on the ...

Ask the service station attendant when the tanks were last filled, because that stirs up any sediment. Not sure how long it takes for that sediment to resettle on the bottom, I would assume 3-4 hours. Also, what did the Injector guys clean your injectors with? I assume he just ran straight ethanol t...

What is this talk of a needing a custom cross member for the RX7 boxes? Is this because of the rear mount location? And if so, does the S5 or S6 box have them in the right place? Additionally JAS has brought up the issue of the input shaft not being long enough on the RX boxes, is that really the ca...

how do you accurately tune using egts? from what i've read, egts actually go down a notch when detonation occurs? You use egts firstly to even out the cylinders afr, as most ecus nowdays allow you to do so. Secondly you ensure that egts don't get too close to 1000deg for std petrol turbos, otherwis...
