Starion is part of the colt family, and was marketed in the UK as such... I've seen pics of Starion with the colt badge... as for the sounding spacey theme... it was the 80's... Magna, Cordia, Starwagon... Fords Lazer, Meteor and so on.

Hey still chasin' long nose crank sprocket... anyone?

crank sticks out approx 36mm, width of sprocket for balance shaft (outer edge) approx 16.6mm and main timing belt sprocket is approx 20.6mm. The spacer... no idea as it was missing. I'll messure the gears and the length of the crank from the front of the block. I take a pic of the crank today and see if I can upload tonight. Thanks for the reply.

Chasing crank sprocket, crank key steel, the backing plate behind the crank sprockets and the spacer that the crank bolt holds the sprockets in place with. I don't have a pic. of the spacer (don't no the tech. name), as this was missing on my motor... hence the damage to the other components! Ok... ...

Great resto! The upolster did an awsome job with keeping the seats looking original... not sold on the centre console though. Over all she's a stunner!
