Yeah I figure that a pair of sigma struts and arms would similarly do the trick. And with looking to modify, they don't need to exactly be direct bolt in's anyway. Not sure what they'd go for. I'd hazard $50-100 given that they aren't necessarily a high demand part. Normally just excess to requireme...

Yeah have been.

Basically looking to get a pair of struts to save me butchering my standard Lancer GSR struts in a custom build.

Would a pair of sigma or galant numbers suffice? Might need bottom arms as well due to the difference in locating studs... 2 vs. 3 on the lancer struts.

From what I can gather from most guys in NewZealand with reasonably tuned EVOs is that the standard injectors - 510cc are good for around 220 Kw at all four wheels, or about 380-400 engine hp.

But like has been previously mentioned, beyond this, 550cc or bigger will be the go.

I might be the NZ guy that was refered to. At the mo I'm trying to sus out my suspension now that I have just got it running again with a 2L staz bottom end in it. Will try and sort out some photos once its back on all fours again, hopefully in a week. Great car, but an absolute mission to get any s...

I've had all my cooler piping powder coated, and the turbo to intercooler half hasn't suffered any ill effects at all.

Hope that helps.

MPI Q's

Having read all the numerous topics on the forum regarding MPI setups there are a few questions that I need answered. When fitting the newly cut and shut Sonata manifold the thermostat housing is on the oppisite end to that of the standard manifold which places it where the heater assembly would nor...

Cogratulations, top effort! Great to see that you finally got it all sorted.

So how does it go? As quick as you hoped?

We EX turbo owners need to get together, its just a shame we're all spread over the country.

I use the high quality mineral racing oil by pennzoil rated at 25-50W in my lancer turbo. The top prostock cars here run this oil in their race engines which says something (think $50,000+ engines) and if you give your car a bit of stick from time to time its nice to know that you have a good quiali...

Regarding the LSD's found in Starions, how strong are they? And in the event of one breaking are they rebuildable?

I only ask because I have one in my lancer and am at times paranoid about breaking it as I am well aware of their rarity.
