Thats IRS.. DR30 :P Yes it is the DR30 - but HR31s are IRS, R200 diff also - its the local R31s with the fourlink and borgwarner setup. But between the DR30 and HR31 rear end the differences are minimal. Anyway... Very nice. Thanks for the photo 7th_skyline. A picture paints a thousand words. You a...

I haven't got any that show the pump arrangement; but the gibson motorsport R31s ran a massive array of undercar coolers - separate units for engine oil, gearbox, and diff.... Actually this might be the DR30 - fark all difference either way. Note the filter and ducting. http://img.photobucket.com/al...

I'd say nobody makes adaptors for Nissan to mitsubishi yet? But on that tack RB30E/RB25DE/RB20DET box isn't anything to write home about, its the basic 5 speed Nissan use in about eleventybillion different cars, however an RB25DET box is massive, same internals as a GT-R and you'd probably never mak...

Ahh ok, I thought you were referring to spring ID not strut body ID. In which case looks like I'm stuck with Koni or AFCO sleeve kits.
Thanks anyway.

Turned up in the mail today, all the way from Kanagawa. EMS is great! Unfortunately I have to say I'm sort of disappointed, I will have a huge amount of work to get it up to scratch. It doesn't have any racing interior parts, just a race seat and a pissweak attempt at a roll cage (which I would imag...

Re: model

was looking for a scorpion one but can find any. Whatever the Jap version of the scorpion is called (celeste maybe?) is available in 1/24 from Aoshima. Check these Japanese hobby shop sites, http://www.hlj.com and http://hobbyworld.aoshima-bk.co.jp/eindex.asp and you should find it. All you need is...

Ok, so what strut diameter are the sleeves to suit? Approximate shock stroke length?
I'm planning to do my skyline's front struts soon, most people use a 51mm (2") ID sleeve, and AE92 Toyota short stroke shocks (not sure of stroke, about 165mm I think).
