Input shaft from the gearbox to the engine
Input shaft from the gearbox to the engine? ;) Need to machine a bush to sit inside the end of the crank. Shaft ?
What shaft are we talking about ??Station wrote:There's a local scrappy tome who is selling an EVO 3 engine for 400 quid. I'm also from the North West!

EVO 3 engine -> Starion gearbox. ( How to do it )
1. Machine a boss that fits into the end of the EVO 3 crank where a spigot bush normal is. Machine another hole in the boss the same size as the input shaft of the gearbox. 2. Machine 2 unwanted M10 engine to gearbox bolts down to a tappered point to similar to a centre punch. Cut a slot in the end ...

How's it going getting that exhaust manifold and turbo arrangement to fit in? I've been looking at a manifold that looks identical to that one, and was planning to just cut the turbo end off and weld my own on like you did, but then I thought maybe i'd prefer to have up turbo high mounted for space...

Starter problem
Brendan,
could be a worn ring gear on the flywheel. The ring gear will only used in 2 sections of the ring gear. They will be approx. 180 degrees out, the rest of the ring does not get used. You can sweat the ring gear off and move it around so a new portion gets used.
