The window wiring in both my Starions was farken dodgy so it may well be that.. both cars had burnt out wires in the window circuit that had been replaced at some point in the distant past - one was burnt out all the way from the relay box in the engine bay right up to the switch  With my Sigm...

The rear seat weighs almost nothing so there's not much point. You would also have to re-register the car as a 2-seater if you do this. I don't see much point in removing stuff to save weight unless you can remove it from the engine bay - anywhere else and all you're doing is shifting more of the we...

Is it really necessary to go for the E11? E6X will do the job perfectly and is $1000 cheaper.

Nah, that's Wacol.

I'm in Morningside - probably 15 minutes from Wynnum. Don't think it's too bad (although it's very close to Lytton which is fairly industrial) - near the bay north of Manly which is definitely not slumsville.

but have you ever spoken to a basic mechanic like a Repco joint?
I go into repco all the time with part numbers and it still takes ages for them to look it up.. and then they say "that's not the right part" and I say "just order it.." it's a fun game :)
