Fuel - You're a Gem

I've got to give a big thank you :beer to Luke (Fuel) and Dean (his dad) for helping me out last Saturday.

Problem seemed simple in the end but was not that obvious at the time.

FS: VR4 Injectors for your MulitPoint Upgrade

I have a set of VR4 injectors which I no longer need.

Maztec of Melbourne has tested them out as OK.

$220 for the set of 4

Just cancelled my RACV policy and now with Just Cars - definitely seem more friendly towards modifications - just hope it stays that way when it counts

$585 for Third Party F&T sounds steep for a 30 something with your history with modest modifications. Al, when you say the wheels aren't covered, does that mean they wont give you a policy with modified wheels OR that they wont cover the theft/fire damage for the wheels. btw I've sent off for a ...

Thanks guys, this makes for interesting reading. For the record, and seeing as we're disclosing, my RACV policy is $324 per year for Third party Fire & Theft BUT without modifications permitted. It appears Just Cars is leading the race for now as insurer to accept the gammit of popular Starion m...

So Just Cars sounds promising for our worked Starions.

Cuss Cuss or Gadget can you give an indicative on the policy premium($) ? I expect you pay for the privilege. Guess it might depend on your age location as well.

Are you aware if they provide for Full comprehensive and Third Party policies ?

Aaah of course no mention of multipoint, ecu, removal of emission control, pod filter, different engine #, lowered springs, probably something to do with a high flowed 3" exhaust - yes it does seem a bit ridiculous come to think of it does beg the question. How many of our Starions are remotely...

The Vehicle Standards Information document indicates that an increase in the wheel track up to 25mm per wheel is acceptable from the RTAs perspective. So in short, going from my JDs standard 6.5" width to 7" should be fine (aside from any other diameter changes). I'm assuming JAs & JBs...

Starion Insurance ??

Has anyone had any success in getting Full Comp or Third Party Only insurance for their Starion with 7" width wheels (eg 17 x 7) ? I've been advised through RACV that a 6.5" wheel width is the maximum they will accept for a Starion regardless of other dimensions.
