Re: LSD's. How tight is too tight!?!

If you are talking about turning one axle relative to the other, then there is no way you could turn it by hand. But you should be able to turn the pinion easily.

Well you could be right. I have to admit that I have never checked for codes on a dash engine. However there are still some things in my post that are relevant. For instance I would only check for codes with the ignition on and not running. The code list is probably correct. The only thing that a da...

How are you reading the code? The correct way is to turn ignition on and read the code with a volt meter. An analogue meter is the best to use. If there are no codes it will just show 12v. If there are codes, it should start with the lowest numerical code 1st. Flash on for 0.4 seconds, flash off for...

Hey niss720. Can you let me know when and how to pick up my parts. You don't seem to respond to messages for whatever reason.

Anyway the parts I have paid for include:
Complete lsd drivetrain and 5 stud hubs, disks and calipers front and rear.

Thanks.

My apologies, you are correct. The early software doesn't have an air/fuel ratio gauge.

That's not air/fuel ratio ie. wideband output, that is narrowband oxygen sensor output exactly like I said.

You can use a narrow band oxygen sensor with the wolf 3dv4 if you want closed loop control. It is only really necessary if you have a cat converter though. A cat needs a stoichiometric mixture to operate efficiently hence the need for a oxygen sensor. If you don't have an oxygen sensor you can tune ...

I have a Wolf 3dv4 on my car. I use a laptop to tune it. You can have as many different maps as you like but only one in the ecu at any time. I have several saved on my laptop. You can turn off the fuel on over run if you like but it is quite difficult to tune satisfactorily. I think from memory the...

The spec for fuel pressure is 245 kPa which is roughly 36psi. (Incidently the pump should flow 110 litres per hour at this pressure) As the injectors are above the throttle plate and so is the fuel pressure regulator reference, they never really operate in a real vacuum, so fuel pressure will not go...

Needs an independent review; The author is writing about his own patent,
on his own website.

I suspect there isn't much gain over conventional setups.
