I reckon it's the bolt in the coolant drain hole in the exhaust manifold side of the block. That one generally becomes a permanent part of the block

A lot of the front suspension parts/bushes are the same, such as ball joints, inner & outer tie rod ends, steering idler arm, radius rod & control arm bushes.

If you're going to use one of those, make sure your tacho still works with it.

Ok, I did it now just like you said

'tis indeed shagged rear control arm bushes. Next question - where can I get replacements? No joy so far from calling various places yet...

Weird problem when decelerating

I have a weird problem with the JB when decelerating: just after decelerating (e.g. when changing gears) there's a noticeable pull to the left.

The power steering system seems ok, and the brakes aren't binding. Any clues? I'm trying to avoid thinking it's the L$D.

Al, Redzone's right - it's just a noise suppressor. If your radio works fine without the black box, you're ok - otherwise you'll need it.

The yellow wire looks like the temp gauge wire. The one that's already plugged in (from the same part of the loom) is a 2-wire connection for the ECU. The temp gauge wire is a single wire only. The black/white wire is possibly the fuel pump test wire (if you apply 12V to it, the fuel pump will start).

I've always used Penrite HPR30. As Nachoman said, value for money in comparison to other oils, and no complaints in the performance department.

Sorry mate, got terribly busy - had the kids soccer in the morning and then had to work - been trying to wrap up a project at one place and start a new contract at another.

Sigma ones fit fine.

Part number to ask for is Mackay Rubber A1275. You'll get two in the pack, so you chuck one of'em out

If you have a JA it's probably the dashpot. You can adjust these, unless the diaphragm is cactus.
