Thanks Bigmoz.
I thought $2500 was a fair price for a quick sale too. Maybe I should bump it up.
I have already had a generous offer for $1000 :) FFS.
I would be better off parting it out LSD, Autronic, L300 MP, Koni struts, front bumper, JD lights and pillars.........

84 JA for sale in TAS
Thanks Thrash :) I thought I was fairly IT literate.......
The first version had a bit more detail but I thought better about including comments on mounting, stud farms and heriditory lines :)

Weird problems fixed with new turbo
Hi Guys, Thanks to MitsuMadness I have replaced the completely shagged turbo on my car. For a while the car has had boosting problems and pressurisation of the sump. Initially I thought I had some blow by problems however when I removed the turbo I found about 400mL of oil in the water to air interc...

I agree that you will need to put aside 3-5k for the project. For the CPU go Autronic. Its a bit more expensive than Haltech (and others) but reliable as hell. It is also limited in the type of transducers it will accept (this can be a good thing). Motec has a better user interface and supports a la...

Hi Guys,
I need to replace the backwards facing JD turbo (I think) in my car.
Does anyone have one they are willing to part with?
Similar to this one (I have not managed to get a reply on email):

Aha!
Alright. Had the diff swapped out for a non LSD. Interesting results...... Feels a hell! of alot tighter and is MUCH quieter. Sooooo I reckon the LSD is a bit dodgy and will send it to the hospital for repair. It still didn't fix the axle tramp but it feels different. Mechanic reckons it is to do wi...

Narrowed down the options
Well since the last post I have tightend up the diff and torque tube mounts (made a slight improvement), checked and lubricated the rubber bits (actually made it bit quieter) and changed the oil. Unfortunately it still does it (intermittently). I am going to change it out for the spare (non-LSD) dif...
