water pump is easy

just get the flange the pulley bolts onto on the water pump shaft pressed off flip it over and press it back on

You might have to move (press) the pump pulley in a bit further on the shaft to get the alignment right with the crank pulley if you are using the VR4 crank pulley/harmonic balancer (4 rib design). Its a bit trial and error. i found the easiest way was to pull the whole pulley flange off the shaft ...

all iv ever been told is that u shouldnt buy one with the wrong base map as it makes it a pain and usually not worth the price u save by the time u send it back to get remapped
