yeah you should hear the feul pump prime for afew secounds when the key is turned to ign, but if the starter isn't cracking the engine useing the key, sounds like theres a problem there, you could also try taking the feul line off and see if it's supplying feul under primeing and cranking.

That doesn't count it's going down hill all the way :D Plus it's 1.8 not 2.0  So what mods do you have? MPI, evo 2 turbo, 3inc exhaust, evo i/c, 510 inject...

cheers for your input guys mrb1- my goal is 250hp at the wheels not flywheel. The stock 4G63 SOHC pistons are not strong enough, if you are careful they may not go straight away but they will fail for sure. The stock rods are the same as VR4 (except for the pin size) and are strong no problem there...

RVR head, as long as its evo 1-3 style is identical to evo 1-3, so yes it can be used on starion blocks, the coils are waste spark, so you can use eitheir 4g63 vr4 or evo loom and computer or aftermarket ecu (altronic, link etc...) all depends on what you want to do.

If you have enough fuel (MPI set up) and either forged or late model evo pistions (which are good for 18-19 psi as factory evo's run these days) you'll be good for 20psi all day. As for the nosie of forge's, i built my gsr-x sigma with forgie's and from cold every use to say "wots wrong with it...
