Hey flav, How much boost do you reckon you can get away with on the std 2.4 pistons?, had a look at a set and they seem to have a thicker ring land than the staz pistons. Rods looked the same as vr4 to me too. Reckon you could get away with it if you drop comp with a thick cometic gasket or somethin...

I used vr4 rods and pistons in my 8v so i'm assuming you can order in any rod piston combo for 4g63 twincam (6-bolt engine) to suit your engine also allows you to upgrade to a twin cam head later. Vr4 piston Lowers compression in the 8v head a bit though so your just going to have to run more boost ...

tis a cosworth garrett (t3-t4 maybe? doe anyone know?) so i'm assuming it's non-ball bearing and a tad small so 400bhp sounds rightish to me, looks like the turbo has a restictor of some kind sitting there aswell, would figure since it's racing in competition structure of some sort.

Yes, i figure you mean us sydney people should more regularly organise to be less organized in an increasingly less frequent fashion in order for us all to randomly appear in the same place and time for the purpose of anything generally, except a cruise, gathering, meet or any other term used to descr...

Yeah the set has both front and rears i'm not very confident the rears will fit since the lancer had a live axle but the strut inserts look similar. Is there any place online that lists the part numbers? Tis good to know that the fronts will fit though!

Thanks.
