chasing a heads up on which version of the twincam 4g63 turbo engine is the better one to get?

my bet is ignition related ... it sounds like the spark starts breaking down and you let the coil/lead/plug/ignitor cool and your good to go again..

battery isn't getting as charged as it should --- battery or alternator
battery is stuffed and dumps all voltage when you hit the key -- battery
