They used the dash from '85 to '87.....Stateside, anyway. I can't speak for the UK, though.

Mine has a button that toggles it from MPH to KMH. Also, when the fuellevel gets low, you can hit another button, and accurately read the fuel level down to 1/6 of a tank.

Pretty cool.

Hey, guys...been a while..(56K - not a good idear)

Good news! The Poofta (god, that cracks me up) got the car up and running. Plus, we made a few upgrades along the way. Now, I didn't do the Magna MPI. I figured I had best break the engine in well before screwing about with all of that, so that's what's happening now. Got 1200 miles on it now. Still...

Is that true? 2.6L, turbocharged, 152bhp? Is that at the wheels? Even still, extremely light in the loafers! Its gotta be relatively easy to bump that up considerably? Or is it just that bad of an engine? My 'X2 HR Holden was rated at 145bhp, obviously na and with only 3L, in 1967! Remember, 152bhp...

That guy in the black widebody is me. I'm also the first picture, standing in the suit in front of the Ford Taurus.

The car used for the chase filming was a 1972 240Z with triple Mikunis, and the camera used was a Sony Handycam, TRV-318. The HandyCam was mounted to the roll bar inside the car.

A little viddy I hacked together.

I set up a vid of a few of us goofing off in a parking lot, just having some fun.

http://www.26liter.us/videos/owners/ulr ... y_Lane.wmv

It's 28MB, so dial-uppers beware, but it's a pretty good vid of some fun screwing around, and a few pics tossed in.

Enjoy!

Hey, there, Al!

That sure didn't take long. At any rate, looks as if I may have created myself a new nickname here...LOL

You guys got a video section? I just cut together a video of old footage from a few cars we had around, and if you guys would like it, just say so, and I'll toss up a link!

Re: Hi, guys!

Welcome, your car is sexy like mine. P.S. I never knew Alspos was from Australia! BTW, I had an Australian boss at a shop I worked at years ago....he kept calling me poofta, or poofter, or something like that. Is that bad? It means you're a gay. ROTFLMAO. That guy was a riot.....I figured as much, ...

Hi, guys!

Hello, all, my name is Tim, and if you ever go to starquestclub.com, you'll have seen UlrichWolf before. I have no clue why I haven't registered here before, but I finally decided to, because there is more of these than just in the US. I know, pretty stupid-sighted of me, but hey....better late than...
