When I first had my 4g54 O ringed to accept the turbo the shop used a copper gasket and coppercoat. First turn of the key and water leaked out everywhere. :shock: Second rebuild he used a RTV silicone and a can of stop leak for good measure. That was 8 years ago and not a drop of water has been spil...

The same argument for tyres.

A mate has a 6 litre Monaro and went to get new tyres fitted, and the replacemnt tyres have to be rated at 270kph :shock:

As long as the 4G54 block was a factory RWD manual it will fit. No good for an RWD auto block and no good with any FWD Magna blocks. Must be 330mm between the dowls for a 4G63 ( Ignore the 310mm spacing in the pic. That is for RWD 4G54 auto blocks and all 4G52 blocks, as well as FWD Magna blocks use...

There is a Guy from Sydney named Theo Bakasetas who has/had a Wherrett Turbo regn. DRSGMA

He had a T5 behind the Astron , which was a wide block.

The standard procedure to check a brake booster is apply pressure to the brake pedal, and then start the motor. The pedal should sink further towards the floor. If it doesnt, the booster is buggered.
